New Delhi, Oct 06: Delhi North were crowned champions of the Artist Event Cricket League (AECL) Season 8 as the tournament concluded with its grand finale in New Delhi, bringing the eighth edition of the artist-driven cricket league to a close.
The Delhi North side emerged at the top after a competitive season featuring teams comprising personalities and players from the entertainment and creative fraternity. The champions were presented with the AECL Season 8 trophy at the concluding ceremony, while the runner-up and standout performers were also recognised for their performances during the tournament.
The closing ceremony combined the league’s sporting finale with a major entertainment programme, headlined by Punjabi singer Mankirat Aulakh, who performed live for the audience. His performance provided the musical highlight of the evening and marked the conclusion of a season that brought together cricket and the entertainment industry on a single platform.
The ceremony was attended by personalities from the entertainment and events industry, along with members of the cricketing fraternity and participants associated with AECL.

With the Season 8 finale, AECL completed another edition of its cricket and entertainment format, culminating in the Delhi North championship and an evening of live music and celebrations featuring Mankirat Aulakh.
