Mumbai, Oct 09: Flipkart’s Big Billion Days campaign brings together popular names from the entertainment and creator space Karan Kundrra, Tejasswi Prakash and Malavika Mohanan for a series of engaging, personality-led films around everyday home and kitchen appliances.
The campaign, developed in collaboration with GoPromoto, takes a more entertainment-first approach to showcasing products including air fryers, cleaning appliances and other small appliances available on Flipkart. Instead of relying on conventional product demonstrations, the films integrate the products naturally into stories built around the personalities of the featured talent.
For the Karan Kundrra and Tejasswi Prakash film, the creative leans into the duo’s recognisable chemistry and personalities, turning an everyday shopping proposition into a relatable and entertaining narrative. With Malavika Mohanan, the campaign takes a more celebrity-led approach, placing everyday appliances within a polished, personality-driven format.
Across the films handled by GoPromoto, the agency took charge of conceptualisation, scripting, production and execution, developing ideas around the individual talent rather than applying a standardised advertising format. This talent-first approach allowed each collaboration to retain its own personality while remaining aligned with Flipkart’s Big Billion Days communication.
The campaign also brings in Kabita Singh, adding a creator-led perspective to the larger campaign. Known for her food, home and lifestyle content, Kabita’s collaboration brings the appliances into a more familiar everyday setting, demonstrating how creator-led storytelling can make functional product categories feel more relevant and accessible to digital audiences.
The mix of established celebrities and creators reflects the changing nature of brand communication, where personality, relatability and entertainment are increasingly becoming as important as the product message itself.
For GoPromoto, the campaign represents its approach to building creator and celebrity collaborations from the creative stage itself, identifying the right talent, developing concepts suited to their individual personas and translating brand objectives into content designed for digital audiences.
“The idea was to move beyond simply placing products within celebrity content and instead build stories around the personalities themselves. Karan and Tejasswi gave us the opportunity to work with their natural chemistry, while Malavika brought a completely different energy to the creative. With Kabita, the approach was rooted in everyday relatability. Across these collaborations, our focus was to make the brand communication feel like content audiences would genuinely want to watch, while keeping the Flipkart proposition at the heart of every story.” Anshul Gupta, Founder, GoPromoto
The collaboration showcases GoPromoto’s growing work across creator marketing, celebrity-led storytelling and creative production, helping brands turn commercial objectives into culturally relevant, personality-driven content.
