Bhubaneswar, Oct 14 [UDN}:A state-level training programme was organised under the supervision of the Odisha State Election Commission to prepare officials for the house-to-house survey ahead of the Panchayat and Municipal Elections 2027.
The training focused on ensuring a clean, accurate and citizen-centric electoral process. Participants were instructed to conduct the door-to-door survey carefully so that no eligible voter is left out of the electoral rolls.
Special emphasis was also placed on identifying errors and discrepancies in the existing voter lists and taking necessary steps for their correction. The training highlighted the importance of maintaining accurate electoral rolls and ensuring that every eligible citizen gets an opportunity to participate in the upcoming local body elections.
