Bhubaneswar, Oct 16 [UDN}:Odisha has been honoured with the prestigious ‘Wind India 2026: Leadership in Wind Energy De-Risking’ Award for its efforts and progress in the wind energy sector.
Dr Satyapriya Rath, Managing Director of GRIDCO, received the award from Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy Pralhad Joshi.
The recognition reflects Odisha’s progress in clean energy transformation and its growing focus on attracting investment in renewable energy. The award highlights the state’s efforts to strengthen its renewable energy ecosystem and promote sustainable energy development.
