Nabarangpur, Oct 28 [UDN}: Odisha’s Under-14 boys’ rugby team has brought pride and honour to the state by winning the silver medal at the National-Level Rugby Championship 2026, held in Delhi. Among the young athletes who contributed to this remarkable achievement was Rajbir Lachman, a student from Nabarangpur district, whose participation and performance have become a source of immense pride and happiness for the people of the district.
Rajbir Lachman is a student of the Government Upgraded High School at Bagdori in Nabarangpur district. Representing Odisha at the national-level competition, he demonstrated his sporting talent, dedication, discipline, hard work and strong team spirit. His participation in the championship and the team’s outstanding achievement reflect the growing potential of young athletes from the district in the field of sports.

Supriya Nayak, Shri Srikant Jani, District Physical Education Inspector Shri Prabhat Patnaik and District Science Supervisor Shri Chittaranjan Patnaik, along with other officials of the district education department, extended their heartfelt congratulations to Rajbir Lachman.
