Bhubaneswar, Nov 4 (UDN): Restoration work is underway in Ganjam, Gajapati and Kandhamal districts to normalise drinking water supply following the cyclone.
* A total of 292 water tankers and 12 mobile water purification units have been deployed to ensure emergency drinking water supply.
* So far, 4.55 lakh drinking water bottles and 3.20 lakh water pouches have been distributed among affected people.
* The department will continue its efforts until the drinking water supply system is fully restored and normal services are resumed across the affected areas.
