31st December 2024: Odisha is about to enter a new phase in its connectivity system. Starting from January 1, 2025, direct flights will be launched from Jharsuguda to Hyderabad, Raipur, Lucknow, and Mumbai. Additionally, from January 3, 2025, Bhubaneswar’s Biju Patnaik International Airport will offer direct flights to Indore, Dehradun, Kochi, Jaipur, and Lucknow. These new air routes will improve the state’s connectivity and significantly contribute to its economic growth.
