31st December 2024: As 2024 comes to a close, Bhubaneswar is gearing up for vibrant New Year celebrations to usher in 2025. The city, known for its cultural vibrancy, will host a range of events featuring live music, dance performances, and festive food.
Prominent hotels and resorts have organized special events for the occasion. Empires Hotel will feature live performances by Remo Ghosh, Chelsi Behura, Sachin Rout, Rozalin Pattnaik, and the musical band Eagle. Hotel Hindustan International (HHI) will host the ‘Eclipse Party 2025,’ with DJ Pankaj and dancers Swati and Ditsha Banerjee. Wonder World Water Park’s ‘Euphoria’ will include performances by Priya Singh and Jay Jha.
Pal Heights Mantra will showcase a ‘Vintage Hollywood’ theme, with performances by Band Jashn, while their Jaydev Vihar branch will offer a ‘Winter Wonderland’ party. Hotel Pushpak will feature playback singers Navya Jaiti and DJ Cross, and Swosti Premium’s ‘Groove & Glitter’ will offer a night of live music and refreshments.
For those looking for a peaceful celebration, attractions like Dhauli, Nandankanan, and Sikharchandi are popular spots to enjoy the New Year in a serene atmosphere.
To ensure safety, security measures have been strengthened across Bhubaneswar. DCP Pinak Mishra emphasized the importance of avoiding drunken driving, with CCTV surveillance, night patrols, and vehicle checks in place.
