Odisha Matriculation Exams Begin February 21: Strict Measures to Prevent Cheating

7th February 2025: The Odisha Board of Secondary Education (BSE) has introduced stringent security measures for the upcoming Matriculation exams starting on February 21, 2025. To curb cheating, each question paper will feature a unique QR code on every page, which will help track and prevent leaks. This addition will allow authorities to easily detect any attempts to photograph or circulate exam papers.

Moreover, over 6,000 exam centers, including sensitive locations, will be monitored through live video feeds and CCTV surveillance. If any center lacks CCTV, installations will be completed by February 18, 2025.

This year, approximately 5.2 lakh students will appear for the exams, which will be conducted from February 21 to March 6. Admit cards for all candidates will be available from February 10, 2025, and can be accessed online or offline.

These measures are designed to ensure the integrity of the exams and create a fair testing environment for all students.
