14th February 2025: On Wednesday, Odisha recorded a high of 37°C, but Thursday saw a slight decrease in temperature. According to the Regional Meteorological Centre, the highest temperature in the state was 35.9°C, recorded in Anugul, with five other cities experiencing temperatures of 35°C or higher. Meanwhile, the lowest temperature in the state was observed in Raurkela, where it dipped to 13°C.
The weather forecast predicts a further drop in temperature over the next two days, with a decrease of 2-3°C. However, no significant changes in the weather are expected in the next three days. The morning hours could bring light fog to some districts along the northern coastal areas of Odisha.
The slight temperature drop provides some relief to the residents, but the state remains under the influence of fluctuating weather conditions.
