15th February 2025: AIIMS Bhubaneswar has introduced India’s first-ever Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) Radiology course. This initiative, led by the departments of Surgical Gastroenterology and Radiodiagnosis, aims to enhance skills in imaging techniques like CT, MRI, and Ultrasonography for HPB diseases.
The course combines online sessions and hands-on training, focusing on improving diagnostic accuracy and surgical planning. It brings together HPB trainees and experts, offering insights into advanced procedures. This step is expected to raise the standards of HPB surgical training in India.
