25th February 2025: The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme, which prioritizes the welfare of farmers, has been a significant source of support for the farming community. Under this scheme, farmers receive financial assistance of ₹2,000 per installment.

In Odisha, over 34.98 lakh farmers have benefited from this initiative. Additionally, through an independent campaign, 3.43 lakh new beneficiaries have been added to the scheme, further expanding its reach. This program continues to play a vital role in supporting farmers and enhancing their livelihood in the state.
