Kolkata, Mar 11: CIMCON Automation, a leader in driving India’s ‘Atmanirbhar’ mission in utility automation across water, lighting, and oil & gas infrastructure, has announced its Eastern India expansion with a new office in Kolkata. This step enhances local execution, strengthens domestic presence, and accelerates tender responsiveness across Eastern and Northeastern India, with continued focus on smart utilities, infrastructure, defense, and industrial automation.
Located in Salt Lake City, this new hub anchors CIMCON’s operations across Eastern and Northeastern India and will drive faster project execution and reduced deployment cycles, streamlining regional coordination and pan-India tendering.
Mr. Anil Agrawal, Founder & CEO of CIMCON Automation, shared his insights on the expansion, saying,

The Kolkata office will also undertake phased workforce expansion for CIMCON, aligned with project growth across the region. This will assist the company to ensure close engagements with state authorities and private sector constituents, ensuring long-term commitment for the company in supporting utilities transformation.
CIMCON already holds a significant presence in West Bengal and the rest of Eastern India, serving government organizations, municipal corporations, and the private sector, supporting smart infrastructure in lighting, water, and energy management. Apart from West Bengal, the firm has undertaken several projects in Bihar, Odisha, Jharkhand, along with Northeastern states like Assam and Meghalaya, with Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI), Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Water Resources Department (WRD) A and Military Engineer Services (Indian Air Force).
