Hindalco Unveils New Identity in Transformational Shift to Disrupt Indian Manufacturing

Mumbai, 27 March 2025 – Hindalco Industries Ltd., the metals flagship of the Aditya Birla Group, has revealed a bold new brand identity as part of its transformation into a leading provider of engineered solutions. The move marks Hindalco’s transition from a materials supplier to an innovation-driven, problem-solving partner in industries like electric mobility, renewable energy, semiconductors, and high-end electronics.

The new identity, unveiled by Aditya Birla Group Chairman Mr. Kumar Mangalam Birla, emphasizes sustainability, circularity, and precision engineering with the tagline “Engineering Better Futures.” Hindalco has committed a massive ₹45,000 crore investment to advance next-generation high-precision engineered products across aluminium, copper, and specialty alumina businesses.

The refreshed brand identity includes a dynamic new logo symbolizing forward momentum, reinforcing Hindalco’s commitment to shaping India’s industrial future. The company aims to create a high-performance culture that drives innovation and attracts top talent, focusing on sustainable solutions for global challenges.

Mr. Satish Pai, Managing Director of Hindalco, stated that this transformation will redefine manufacturing in India, focusing on sustainability and circular economy solutions. Hindalco’s advancements are already revolutionizing industries like automotive, packaging, energy storage, and aerospace, where the company’s high-performance materials are key to next-gen innovations.

In line with its sustainability efforts, Hindalco is leading green initiatives such as India’s first e-waste recycling plant and a 100MW renewable energy project in Odisha, which integrates solar, wind, and hydro storage. For the fifth consecutive year, Hindalco has been recognized as the World’s Most Sustainable Aluminium Company, aligning with India’s net-zero goals and advancing eco-friendly production practices.
