7th December 2024: In a significant step to connect academia with industry, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Sambalpur has teamed up with the National Human Resource Development Network (NHRDN) to open a new chapter on its campus. Announced at a special event in New Delhi, IIM Sambalpur becomes the first IIM to host an NHRDN chapter.
The NHRDN, a prominent organization in the field of human resources, boasts a network of over 20,000 members, including HR professionals, educators, and students. The new chapter will provide a platform to exchange ideas, promote best practices, and contribute to shaping HR policies in India. It will also offer workshops, seminars, and networking events to help students and professionals stay ahead in the HR field.
IIM Sambalpur Director, Mahadeo Jaiswal, expressed his excitement about the partnership, noting that it aligns with the institute’s goal of developing future HR leaders equipped with modern strategies. The chapter will focus on bridging academic insights with real-world HR practices, creating an enriching environment for students and professionals alike.
