Matriculation Exams End, Results Expected in May

7th March 2025: The Odisha Board of Secondary Education’s annual matriculation exams concluded today, March 7, 2025, after starting on February 21. The final exam, covering the third language (Hindi/Sanskrit), was held smoothly without any reported malpractices. Stringent measures, including QR code-based question papers and security cameras, ensured the exams ran without issues.

Board Chairman Shri Kant Tarai confirmed there were no malpractices, and the QR code system helped prevent leaks. Security was heightened with surveillance and four-tier squads at exam centers.

Answer sheet evaluation will begin on March 19 at 51 centers, taking approximately 12 days. Results for the matriculation, Madhyama, and Open School exams are expected in early May. This year, 5,22,336 candidates participated in the exams across 313 centers.
