New Delhi, Oct 12: PARO, the Delhi-born hip-hop duo of brothers Satwik and Sanath Parashar (Shudh and Shor), will release their new single “Behka” on 12th October. The track follows their recent single “Never Gonna Back Down” and features a completely new sound.
“Behka” is an indie hip-hop record unlike anything PARO has released before. Rather than lean on verses packed with bars, the duo built the song around melody, songwriting and emotion, creating a listening experience that is intimate, immersive and completely new for the duo. It is their way of pushing past their own formula and proving their sound isn’t confined to a single genre.
The song tells two stories at once. One captures the disorienting high of falling in love, when everything around you suddenly feels brighter, lighter and infinitely more beautiful simply because someone exists in it. The other explores what happens when that love begins to slip away: the helplessness of watching someone leave despite doing everything to hold on, the memories replayed, the hope that refuses to fade, and the quiet heartbreak that lingers long after love has changed.
“Behka” is built on everything the brothers have learned growing through life and love. Whether a listener’s own story ended beautifully or painfully, PARO hopes the song reminds them they are never alone in what they feel.
