New Delhi, June 12: Abhay Kumar Behuria has officially taken charge as the new Director (Finance) at National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), a premier public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Mines.
Prior to this appointment, Behuria held the position of Executive Director (Finance & Accounts) at Rourkela Steel Plant. With more than 30 years of experience in financial operations, strategic planning, and digital transformation, he is expected to bring valuable insights and leadership to NALCO’s financial framework.
He holds a commerce degree from Utkal University and is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India. In addition, he has earned an Executive Diploma in Business Valuation from the institute’s Advanced Studies and Research Board.
Welcoming him to the leadership team, NALCO Chairman and Managing Director B.K. Singh stated that Behuria’s extensive background in finance and management will contribute significantly to the company’s strategic goals, operational efficiency, and innovation across its key initiativ
