Kodinga, Mar, 26: A three-day training camp for the 2027 Census has begun on Monday at Kodinga Nodal Government Upper Primary School, under Koshagumuda Block of Nabarangpur district.
In this training camp, teachers appointed as enumerators and supervisors are being given detailed instruction on house listing and household enumeration in the first phase. The aim is to ensure that the upcoming census is conducted accurately and efficiently.
The training camp will be conducted in eight phases, with each phase training 50 enumerators and supervisors. For this three-day training, four trainers — Panchanan Duria, Akhel Kumar Bhatt, Jyotiprakash Jagadev, and Madhusudan Sahu — have been appointed.
The program is being conducted under the supervision of Kodinga Tahasil Haldar Tula Muduli and Additional Tahasil Haldar Trilochan Nayak. The first phase of house listing and household enumeration will begin from April 16 and continue until May. According to Tahasil Haldar Tula Muduli, the census will officially commence in February 2027.
The trainees present at the camp are being equipped with all necessary knowledge to carry out the census smoothly.
