Keonjhar, Jan 3: The Atei Jungle Safari in the Ghatagaon range of Keonjhar Forest Division is now open to the public. Inaugurated by MP Anant Naik, this new initiative by the Forest Department aims to boost tourism in the area.
The safari offers a chance for visitors to explore the Atei reserve forest in specially designed vehicles, with guided tours showcasing scenic spots like the Atei viewpoint, Daragudisila river, and bird-watching zones. Wildlife enthusiasts may spot animals such as elephants, deer, and wild boars.
The safari is expected to attract tourists alongside the popular Maa Tarini Temple and local waterfalls, enhancing Keonjhar’s appeal as a tourist destination.
