Biju Jayanti Marked by Biju Janata Dal Through Public Outreach Events in Brahmapur

Brahmapur, March, 14: On the occasion of the 104th birth anniversary of legendary leader Biju Babu, various programs such as a mini marathon, cycle rally, and health camp were organized under the direct supervision of Brahmapur MLA Bikram Kumar Panda.

In addition, volleyball and cricket tournaments were also conducted. Starting from the 5th of the month, special awareness programs have been organized every day to engage and inform the public.

To raise awareness about preventing environmental pollution and road accidents, a cycle rally was flagged off from Haridakhandi Square. The rally moved across different parts of the city, spreading awareness with the message: “Ride a bicycle, stay healthy.”

Similarly, a mini marathon was organized by the Vinayak Acharya Athlete Group to promote awareness about organ donation. Participants were encouraged to pledge organ donation to help save lives.

On Wednesday, a medical camp was held near Balunkeswar Temple at Haridakhandi Square under the supervision of MLA Bikram Kumar Panda. The camp was inaugurated by Ramesh

Chandra Chyaupatnaik, Chairman of the Odisha Building and Other Construction Workers’ Welfare Board, as the chief guest.

The health camp, organized with the support of Ankushpur Ayurvedic College, conducted tests for various ailments including high blood pressure and blood sugar. MLA Bikram Kumar Panda and Chairman Chyaupatnaik inaugurated the camp by undergoing their own health check-ups.

Several BJD leaders and workers were present at the event, including Tumbanath Panda, District Mahila Sabha President Sanghamitra Dalai, Sanjeet Kumar Panigrahi, Tejeswar Swamy, Tirupati Patra, Utkal Padhi, Asit Sabat, Prabhat Sahu, Madan Dalai, and many others.
