Jharigaon,Jan, 21: An accident involving a borewell drilling truck has been reported from the Jharigaon–Chandahandi ghat in Nabarangpur district. According to information received, the truck lost control and overturned in the ghat section.
The incident occurred this afternoon when the borewell drilling truck was traveling from Jharigaon block towards Chandahandi block. While passing through the ghat road, the vehicle lost balance and overturned.
Two laborers traveling in the truck reportedly sustained minor injuries. However, the driver, helper, and other workers narrowly escaped the accident without serious harm.
At present, borewell drilling work is going on in various agricultural fields of Chandahandi block. The Balaji Borewell truck had been engaged for drilling work in the area when it met with this accident today.
