Rayagada,Dec, 06: Senior BSP leader from Rayagada district, Jitendra Jakka (Jitu Jakeshika), has been appointed as the State Incharge of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) in Odisha. According to reports, the announcement was made by the BSP’s Central Coordinator, Dr. Lalji Medha, in Bhubaneswar.
Following this appointment, there has been a wave of happiness among Jitu’s supporters. Various groups have been sending their congratulations to him. Expressing his gratitude, Jitu mentioned that he is indebted to BSP National President Mayawati for giving him this opportunity. He further stated that he would work across the state for the rights of the underprivileged sections of society.
Jitu also highlighted that, even after seven decades of independence, many marginalized communities are still deprived of their fundamental rights. He promised to work towards addressing these issues and to lead the party forward in the coming days. Notably, Jitu had previously served as the district president of BSP.
