Bhubaneswar, Feb, 5: President’s Rule has been lifted from Manipur. After nearly a year, President’s Rule has been withdrawn from the state. The Ministry of Home Affairs has issued a notification regarding the revocation of President’s Rule.
President’s Rule had been imposed in Manipur on February 13 last year. Following its imposition, the 60-member Legislative Assembly was kept under suspended animation. The term of the Assembly is scheduled to end in 2027.
