Bhubaneswar, March, 16: Anu Garg, the Chief Secretary, chaired a high-level meeting to review measures for ensuring the availability and uninterrupted supply of cooking gas (LPG), petrol, and diesel to consumers across the state. The meeting focused on assessing current stock positions, streamlining distribution channels, and addressing any potential bottlenecks in transportation.
All District Collectors participated in the meeting through virtual mode and shared updates regarding fuel availability and ground-level monitoring in their respective districts. The Chief Secretary directed officials to remain vigilant, coordinate closely with oil marketing companies, and ensure that there is no disruption in supply.
She also emphasized the need to prevent panic buying and hoarding, urging district administrations to disseminate accurate information to the public. The state government reiterated its commitment to maintaining smooth and continuous access to essential fuel commodities for all consumers.
