Rayagada, Sept 3 [UDN}:During her visit to Rayagada district, the Chairperson of the Odisha State Commission for Protection of Child Rights, Mrs. Babita Patra, made a surprise visit to the District Headquarters Hospital. During the inspection, she visited various departments of the hospital and reviewed the medical treatment, healthcare services, and essential facilities being provided to patients.
On this occasion, Mrs. Patra interacted directly with the patients and their family members and inquired about their experiences, facilities, and any difficulties they were facing while receiving treatment at the hospital. She carefully assessed their concerns and gathered feedback regarding the quality and availability of healthcare services.
Emphasising the importance of providing better and quality healthcare services, the Chairperson directed the concerned officials to take all necessary steps to ensure that patients do not face any inconvenience. She instructed the authorities to address shortcomings, if any, and ensure the availability of essential facilities and proper medical care so that every patient visiting the hospital receives timely, efficient, and quality healthcare services.
