Malkangiri 23rd Oct 2025: At the Mathili Block Office in Malkangiri district, the Hon’ble Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, through video conferencing, formally inaugurated 471 new Gram Panchayat offices and launched the third phase of the Antyodaya Housing Scheme, under which 48,693 beneficiaries were provided the first installment of funds for house construction.
As part of this initiative, the development of two Gram Panchayats—Chaulamedhi and Kotapalli in the Mathili block of Malkangiri district has been planned.
During the video conference, the Hon’ble Chief Minister also addressed the Mathili Panchayat Samiti, making key announcements related to the scheme. Apart from Nuapada and Kalahandi, the initiative covers 28 districts across the state.
Elected representatives from both Gram Panchayats in Mathili block were present at the event. Notable attendees included:
