Jeypore, Nov 25: An important meeting of the Koraput district branch of the Odisha State Unorganized Workers Coordination Committee was held at Jaipur Yadav Bhavan. The meeting was chaired by Shashibhushan Dash, President of the Koraput district branch of the Odisha State Unorganized Workers Coordination Committee. Workers from various departments of the unorganized sector participated in the meeting at the invitation of the committee.
Discussions were held regarding the various issues and legitimate demands of the unorganized workers. It was decided to hold a gathering in Jaipur on 21.12.2025. It was agreed to provide ₹20,00,000 to all workers, implement old pension schemes under the new pension replacement, grant compassionate appointments according to old rules, and bring various legitimate demands of the unorganized workers to the attention of the state government.

At the end, Shri Dash thanked all participants and concluded the meeting.
