Devotees, Local Residents, and Community Leaders Gathered in Large Numbers at Dhutara Village to Witness the Sacred Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony of the Upcoming Radha Krishna Temple.

Jharsuguda, July 8 {UDN}: The foundation stone laying ceremony for the proposed new Radha Krishna Temple was held at Radhamadhav Mandap in Dhutara village under Orda Panchayat of Kirmira Block, Jharsuguda district.

The ritual was conducted on Friday, the 26th day of the Jyestha month (Shukla Paksha Dwadashi tithi), under the priestly guidance of Shri Biswambar Panigrahi. Shri Gopal Kalar and his wife Smt. Roli (Rinki) Kalar acted as the main patrons (karta) of the temple construction.

Several respected villagers were present on the occasion, including Shri Bhagaban Hanua, Aniruddha Kalar, Paramananda Pradhan, Babulia Behera, Shatrughna Pradhan, Iswar Chandra Buda, Bhubaneswar Dansana, Smt. Sulochana Haluua, Smt. Sumitra Kalar, and Smt. Kailash Pradhan, among others.

Members of the temple construction committee—Shri Bisi Babu, Tekchand Haluua, Narottam Sahu, Purushottam Kalar, Chudamani Sahu, Param Buda, Nirmal Buda, Lalit Dansana, Litu Master, Jena Kalar, Yugala Kishore Keshari, and Keshab Naik—actively contributed to the event.

The Radhamadhav Mahila Sankirtan Mandali enriched the ceremony with devotional singing, making the atmosphere festive and spiritual.
At the end of the rituals, the yagna was completed with Purnahuti, followed by the distribution and consumption of prasad at the Jambo-Nivas garden premises.
A large number of villagers from surrounding areas, including elders, women, and children, participated in the ceremony. The cooking arrangements for the community feast were managed by Shri Ram Babu, Abhimanyu, and Kuber Neul Buda.
