Jeypore, May 08:The District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) located in Jeypore has achieved significant success in the field of healthcare quality. The hospital has been awarded certificates under three nationally recognized quality programs—LaQshya, MusQan, and NQAS (National Quality Assurance Standards).
After receiving these certifications, a wave of happiness spread across the hospital premises. The District Medical Officer (DMO) Dr. Akshay Kumar Rath, Dr. Durga Patra, Dr. Ashish Panigrahi, along with all doctors and hospital staff, celebrated the achievement by cutting a cake.
Health department officials stated that after receiving these certifications, the quality of maternal and child healthcare services, maternity unit management, cleanliness, and overall service standards in the district hospital have improved further.
The LaQshya program focuses on strengthening maternal care and safe delivery services, while MusQan aims to improve the quality of newborn and child healthcare services. NQAS evaluates the overall quality standards of hospitals.
DMO Dr. Rath stated that this recognition is the result of the hard work of all doctors, nursing staff, and healthcare workers. He added that it will further help in providing better-quality government healthcare services to the people of the district.
