Salepur, 20th Oct 2025: On the occasion of the Sharadiya immersion festival, a felicitation ceremony was organized by the Salepur Regional Journalists’ Association to honor the Durga Puja committee members. The event was held near the association’s office under the chairmanship of senior journalist Akshaya Kumar Das, the president of the association.
The program was coordinated by editor Drusikesha Mallik, with Salepur Tahsildar Jayanta Kumar Jayasingh attending the event.
Among the distinguished guests were:

- Salepur IIC Anita Sahoo
- Mahanga IIC Tapan Raut
- President of the Salepur Bar Association Bikram Keshari Bala
- Various Puja committee members were felicitated during the event.
