Bhubaneswar, Oct 26 [UDN}:A preparatory meeting for the observance of Vigilance Awareness Week 2026, scheduled to be celebrated from October 26 to November 1, was held in the Zilla Parishad Conference Hall under the chairpersonship of the Additional District Magistrate (Revenue).
The meeting was attended by the Chief Development Officer, Sub-Collector, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Vigilance), and other district-level officials. Detailed discussions were held on the planning and implementation of various awareness activities across the district.
This year’s theme, “Probity for Prosperity,” was highlighted during the meeting, with an emphasis on promoting honesty, integrity, transparency, and accountability in public administration. The participants discussed measures to create widespread awareness at every level of the district and encourage citizens and government officials to uphold ethical values, prevent corruption, and strengthen public trust in governance.
