Cuttack:April 13: A major administrative change has been made at the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack. Dr. Jyotish Chandra Choudhury, Professor and Head of the Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology (FMT), has assumed charge as the new Superintendent of SCB today.
It is worth noting that following a recent fire incident in the hospital, the state government carried out administrative reshuffling and entrusted Dr. Choudhury with this important responsibility. After taking charge, he emphasized strengthening fire safety systems, improving patient care, and creating a broker-free (middleman-free) environment within the hospital.
Having served at SCB for many years, his experience is expected to play a crucial role in better hospital management.
On this occasion, doctors and staff from various departments of the hospital extended their congratulations and best wishes to him.
