EV Bus Services to Begin Shortly in Six New Urban Centers

Bhubaneswar,  Dec, 06:   In the coming days, 6 new cities will have Electric Vehicle (EV) buses.  Information shared by the Minister for Housing and Urban Development.  Currently, there are 670 buses operating in the state, of which 220 are EV buses.  A total of 1,399 kilometers of bus routes are operational across 113 routes.  In the future, buses will be introduced in cities where there is a demand. The online ticketing system has seen a 35% increase in revenue from ticket sales
