Bhubaneswar, 21st Aug 2025: Announcement of 4 More Medical Colleges in Odisha. Four more districts in the state will soon get medical colleges. The Chief Minister announced this during the inauguration ceremony of the Koraput Shaheed Laxman Nayak Medical College. Chief Minister Mohan Majhi also inaugurated the 650-bed hospital attached to the medical college. Currently, the state has 12 government medical colleges. Very soon, medical colleges will be established in Dhenkanal, Jagatsinghpur, Bhadrak, and Nabarangpur.
