Bhubaneswar:July 1 {UDN}: The southwest monsoon is set to become active across Odisha once again from today. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely to lash several parts of the state over the next five days.
The weather department has advised people to remain alert, as intense rainfall may lead to waterlogging in low-lying areas and localized flooding. Fishermen have been cautioned against venturing into the sea during this period due to rough weather conditions. Residents are urged to follow official weather advisories and take necessary precautions to ensure their safety.
