From Tribal Roots to Medical Dreams: Kavita Hikoka Excels in NEET and Inspires Young Students with Her Determination and Hard Work

Bishamakatak: Aug 31 [UDN}:Overcoming numerous hardships and financial constraints, tribal girl Kavita Hikoka has scripted a new chapter of success and brought pride to her family, community and the entire Bishamakatak region.

Kavita, the only daughter of Laba Hikoka and Kamala Hikoka of Sahada village under Bishamakatak block, has reportedly become the first tribal girl from Bishamakatak block to qualify in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET). Her achievement has been widely appreciated in the locality.

Kavita secured an Odisha state rank of 4,178 and an ST category rank of 137 in NEET. Based on her performance, she has been selected to pursue MBBS at Saheed Laxman Nayak Medical College and Hospital in Koraput, bringing her one step closer to fulfilling her dream of becoming a doctor.

However, despite clearing NEET and securing a seat, financial hardship has emerged as a major obstacle on her path to medical education. Coming from a modest family, Kavita’s family reportedly does not have sufficient financial resources to meet the expenses associated with her medical studies. The promising tribal student is therefore awaiting government assistance and support from well-wishers so that her dream does not remain unfulfilled due to lack of money.

Kavita achieved this milestone through her determination, perseverance and hard work, despite financial difficulties and limited resources. She never allowed the challenges before her to divert her from her goal.

Expressing gratitude for her success, Kavita credited her family, teachers and God for their support and encouragement. She aspires to become a successful doctor in the future and dedicate herself to serving the people of her native region.

Her remarkable achievement has sparked widespread happiness in Bishamakatak and surrounding areas. People from different sections of society have extended congratulations and felicitations to the young achiever, while hopes are growing that timely assistance will help Kavita continue her medical education and turn her dream of becoming a doctor into reality.
