Bhubaneswar, March, 18: From 1st April 2026, the Central Government is going to introduce major changes to the rules related to the PAN card used for financial transactions, aiming to reduce inconvenience for the general public.
According to the new amendment, the minimum limit for submitting a PAN card during property purchase and sale has been increased from ₹10 lakh to ₹20 lakh. As a result, if land or a house is purchased for less than ₹20 lakh, it will no longer be mandatory to provide a PAN card.
