Grand ‘Akhanda Brahma Yajna’ Held for Global Peace

Nandapur/March, 2:  A two-day World Peace Akhanda Brahma Yajna organized by the followers of Alekh Mahima Dharma began on Saturday at the Mahima Mandap in Khudub–Bailguda under Golur Panchayat of Nandapur block in Koraput district.

The program commenced with the स्थापना (installation) of the sacred dhuni (holy fire), followed by Mahima bhajan singing and rituals. Thousands of Mahima devotees from Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh have participated in the event.

Prominent spiritual leaders attending the yajna include Baba Ramesh Chandra from Bhubaneswar, Baba Lambadhar from Malkangiri, Binakar Baba from Masuri Ashram, Devendra Baba and Sushant Baba from Andhra Pradesh, and Sadananda Baba, Kandarp Baba, Shraddhakar Baba, and Siddheshwar Baba from Koraput. They are conducting the yajna offerings, lighting of lamps, spiritual discourses, and devotional singing.

The event is being organized under the leadership of Khudub Mahima Mandal President Kamaya Pangi, Vice President Swaraj Disari, Secretary Bhaktaram Burudi, and Treasurer Kush Pangi. Devotees Tripati Kamudi, Ram Swamy, Keshab Tahalia, Narayan Pangi, and other members of the Mahima Mandali are extending their support.
Adequate security arrangements have been made by Padua Police to maintain peace and order during the event.
