Bhubaneswar, January 3: Harih Babu Kambhampati was sworn in as the 27th Governor of Odisha at a ceremony held at Raj Bhavan. The oath was administered by Chief Justice Chakradhara Sharan Singh, with several political leaders and dignitaries in attendance.
Kambhampati, appointed in December 2024, previously served as the Governor of Mizoram and was a Member of Parliament from Visakhapatnam. His appointment follows the resignation of Raghuvar Das, the former Governor of Jharkhand.
