Bolangir, Aug 14 [UDN}: A Tricolour rally was organised in Loisingha Block following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call to promote patriotism and national pride through the national flag. The rally was organised by the BJP.
Local MLA and Minister for Health & Family Welfare, Parliamentary Affairs, and Technical Education & Information Technology, Dr. Mukesh Mahaling, joined the motorcycle rally along with local youth.
The rally began at Duromunda and passed through Sargad, Maharapali Chhak, Balimuna, Jharmunda, Karjatia Chhak, Loisingha Durga Chhak, Jorisharda and Budhipadar. Villagers, youth and people from all age groups participated enthusiastically, raising slogans of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai.”
The main objective of the rally was to strengthen the spirit of patriotism among citizens and reinforce the resolve of a “Viksit Bharat.” Participants also pledged to uphold the dignity of the national flag and enhance the honour of the motherland.
Minister Mahaling was accompanied by his Loisingha representative Gaurang Naik, Puintala Block representative Ajit Panda, Agalpur Block representative Pitambar Kanta and thousands of party workers.
