Heatwave Hits Jharsuguda: Temperature Reaches 37°C

Bhubaneswar, Feb 13, 2025: Odisha recorded unusually high temperatures today, with Jharsuguda reaching 37°C, marking the highest temperature of the year so far. Other regions like Bhadrak reported 36.2°C, Balangir 36°C, and Anugul 35.7°C. Towns such as Bhavanipatna, Paralakhemundi, and Titilagarh saw temperatures of 35.5°C, while Bhubaneswar registered 34.8°C and Khurda 34°C.

Even during the night, temperatures remained relatively high. However, meteorologists have forecasted a slight dip in temperatures over the next few days, with a decrease of 3 to 5°C expected. No major changes in nighttime temperatures are anticipated in the coming period.
