Begunia, 17th Nov 2025: For the first time, a Block-Level Fisheries and Animal Resources Fair–2025 was organized in Begunia Block of Khordha district. In the inaugural ceremony, the Hon’ble MLA of Begunia, Shri Pradip Kumar Sahu; the Chairman of the Panchayat Samiti, Shri Lakshmidhar Subudhi; the Block Development Officer, and other dignitaries were present.
On this occasion, interested fish farmers, livestock rearers, and other farmers visited various stalls and viewed different exhibitions. During the fair, eight successful farmers were felicitated, and work orders were distributed to beneficiaries under various schemes.
