Historic Shift as Upcoming Census to Be Conducted Digitally for the First Time with Modern Data Systems

Bhubaneswar, Mar, 28:   Census preparations in the state have reached the final stage.
Information shared by Odisha Census Director Nikhil Pawan Kalyan.
Self-enumeration will be conducted from April 1 to April 15.
Citizens can submit their own information through 33 simple questions.
The first phase of house listing across all 30 districts will take place from April 16 to May 15.
Enumerators will visit every household in villages to collect data.
Primary school teachers are planned to be appointed as enumerators.
High school teachers will serve as supervisors.
This will be the first-ever digital census in the history of the Indian Census.
More than one lakh personnel will be engaged in the process, informed the Census Director.
