Bhubaneswar, Mar, 26: To financially empower urban street vendors, the Pradhan Mantri Street Vendor’s AtmaNirbhar Nidhi (PM SVANidhi) scheme has been extended to 140 Census Towns across the state.
Under this scheme, collateral-free loans ranging from ₹5,000 to ₹50,000 are being provided in the first phase. Beneficiaries who repay their installments regularly are eligible for a 7% interest subsidy.
