IGNOU Bhubaneswar Holds 38th Convocation Ceremony

Bhubaneswar, March 6: The 38th convocation of the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) Bhubaneswar regional centre took place at Utkal University’s MKCG Auditorium. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan joined virtually as the chief guest, praising IGNOU for making higher education accessible and affordable.

Vice-Chancellor Uma Kanjilal congratulated the graduates, while Utkal University VC Sabita Acharya highlighted IGNOU’s role in providing flexible learning. Over 6,000 students received their certificates, with three from Bhubaneswar—Sipra Sonali Das, Saurabh Kumar Ghana, and Gourav Kumar—securing All India Rank 1.
