Rayagada:Aug 22 [UDN}: For the first time in Rayagada district, a visually impaired person with a disability has been appointed as a permanent teacher under the Welfare Department. Rayagada District Collector Shri Ashutosh Kulkarni handed over the appointment letter to the newly appointed teacher today.
This appointment is not merely an instance of a teacher securing a job; it is a positive example of ensuring equal rights, equal opportunities, and merit-based employment for persons with disabilities.
