Inclusive Initiative: Competitions Held for Divyang Participants in Kotpad

Kotpad:Feb, 10:  Sports and cultural competitions for persons with disabilities were organised by the Kotpad Block and NAC (Notified Area Council) at the Kotpad Sporting Club ground. The cultural programmes were held at the Kotpad NAC Kalyan Mandap.
On this occasion, Kotpad MLA Rupu Bhatra, NAC Chairman M. Shankar Rao, MP’s representative Rameshwar Jena, Block Chairperson Kamala Bhatra, Vice-Chairman Tapan Panigrahi, NAC Vice-Chairperson M. Santoshi, MLA’s representatives Suren Mohanty  Kotpad Block BDO Manoj Nayak, Ghumar Sarpanch Kamala Pujari, along with other sarpanches, Kotpad NAC ward members Salma Begum and Parameswari Behera, WEO Satyanarayana Sethi, Mamata Bhatra, all PEOs, block staff, sports teachers, teachers, and parents of the participating children were present.

During the cultural programmes at the Kalyan Mandap, talented artists with disabilities delivered high-quality performances that entertained the guests and local residents of Kotpad. The outstanding performers were honoured with certificates and shields by the dignitaries present.

The initiative taken by the administration received wide appreciation from various sections of society. The programme was conducted by Prashant Panda.
