13th May 2025 : In its continued commitment to foster innovation and entrepreneurial excellence, Jaipuria Institute of Management, Ghaziabad, hosted the highly anticipated Startup Conclave 2025 under the theme “The Startup Rise: Innovate, Scale, Succeed.”

Held on Saturday, 10th May 2025, the conclave served as a dynamic platform for dialogue, inspiration, and collaboration among some of the most influential minds in India’s startup ecosystem. The conclave brought together a vibrant mix of entrepreneurs, leading incubators, policymakers, startup mentors, investors, and budding student visionaries, all united by a shared vision of transforming ideas into scalable ventures.

The event opened at 10:30 AM at the JIM Auditorium. Esteemed guests of the inaugural function were Shree Vinod Malhotra, Advisor Jaipuria Group of Educational Institutions, Ms Deepali Dev, Chief Operating Officer, ECO Mobility, Mr Arunabh Sinha, Founder, U-Clean, Mr Dipan Sahu, Asst Innovation Director, Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell, AICTE. Professor Daviender Narang, Director Jaipuria Institute of Management delivered the welcome address and presented the journey of IIC at JIM Ghaziabad so far.

The Director remarked, “Startup Conclave 2025 at JIM Ghaziabad is not just an event—it’s a movement to empower the next generation of innovators. We’re proud to serve as a launchpad for future leaders and change makers.” Shree Malhotra lauded the effort of the institution towards fostering a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation. Mr Sinha, while sharing his journey of starting his venture U Clean insisted on being consistent throughout and remain fearless towards failure. Mr Sahu elaborated the journey of IIC at the nation level and praised the initiatives of JIM Ghaziabad towards promoting entrepreneurship.

The event witnessed two panel discussions. The title of the first Panel Discussion was Unlocking Growth – Government Schemes & Opportunities for Startups. This engaging session featured early-stage startup founders and seasoned entrepreneurs who explored the nuances of turning ideas into actionable business models. The panel emphasized the critical phases of ideation, validation, product-market fit, and the resilience required to thrive in the startup world. The panelists included Ms. Varsha Mario Kacchap, Programme Coordinator, Tribal Design Form, Mr. Abhit Bhatnagar, Co-Founder, Pawllo – Louie Freddie Pets LLP, Dr. Sanjay Kumar, CEO, CEO-IIHMF, MNNIT Prayagraj, Ms. Jyoti Rautela, Co-Founder & CMO, Prismart Productions. Ms Varsha urged the students to be curious towards the problems in the society and come up with creative solutions. Dr Sanjay was the moderator of the panel and explained the role of an incubation centre in supporting and promoting startup.

The title of the second panel discussion was Breaking Barriers – Overcoming Challenges in the Startup Journey. Focusing on the challenges of scale, this panel brought together venture capitalists, growth-stage founders, and policy experts. The panelists included Mr. Sumit Batra, Co-Founder, Ms. Pragati Srivastava, Founder & CEO, Mr. Ashish Jain, Startup Founder, IIM Calcutta Alumnus, Ms. Pooja Kumar, IPR expert, Mr. Ishu Bansal, CTO & Entrepreneur, Mr. Praveen Kapoor, Co-Founder & COO. The discussions revolved around sustainable scaling strategies, funding readiness, regulatory compliance, and the role of ESG in startup growth.

Startup Conclave 2025 stood as a powerful reflection of Jaipuria Institute of Management, Ghaziabad’s unwavering commitment to nurturing a culture of innovation, resilience, and entrepreneurial thinking.
