Dhenkanal, March 31: The results of the Kamakshyanagar Bar Association election in Dhenkanal district have been officially announced.
In the election, Ranjan Kumar Rout secured 106 votes, defeating Pavitra Mohan Biswal, who received 94 votes, to become the President. Similarly, Arun Kumar Nanda was elected as Vice President with 119 votes, while his nearest rival Pradeep Behera got 83 votes.
For the post of General Secretary, Prashant Kumar Pani won with 102 votes, narrowly defeating Ajit Tripathy, who secured 100 votes.
The newly elected candidates were warmly welcomed and felicitated by the members of the Bar Association.
Senior advocate Ayodhya Satapathy conducted the election as the Election Officer, with support from Nirmal Kumar Samal and Chaitan Nayak.
Out of a total of 226 members in the association, 202 members cast their votes in the election.
